Development Course.
➋ What is PADI Instructor Development Course?
PADI Instructor Development Course is divided into 2 parts;
① Assistant Instructor Course
② Open Water Scuba Instructor Program
Assistant Instructor Course
- Under the Assistant Instructor Course, you will undergo professional training to obtain PADI
Assistant Instructor certificate.
Open Water Scuba Instructor Program
- The completion of the Open Water Scuba Instructor Program is the pre-requisite for you to attend
Instructor Examination. - The Instructor Examination is the final step in obtaining a PADI Instructor Certificate.
- Being a certified PADI Instructor entitles you to earn full PADI Instructor Rating.
Master Scuba Diver Trainer Course

Details
i. This course is open to PADI Certified Instructor who have certified a minimum of 25 PADI Divers and has earned 5 or more PADI Specialty Instructor Certifications.
ii. It is an in-depth scuba diving education course.
iii. Training to make you ready to teach various scuba diving courses is another essential part of this course.
iv. Master Scuba Diver Trainer Certification is the pre-requisite for enrolment into IDC Staff Instructor Course.
IDC Staff Instructor Course

Details
i. The course covers;
– Instructor development standards, procedures and curriculum;
– Organizing and conducting PADI Assistant Instructor course;
– Evaluation and counselling psychology;
– Assessment of teaching presentations on knowledge development, confined water and open water.
ii. Once you are a certified IDC Staff Instructor, you can independently teach PADI Assistant Instructor course as well as assist with other instructor-level continuing education courses including IDC Staff Instructor course.
Master Instructor Course

Details
i. Master Instructor is about displaying your scuba diving professionalism through your teaching and conduct.
ii. The requirements for enrolment into this course are;
– Certified PADI IDC Staff Instructor for 2 years or more;
– Issued 150 PADI certifications at various levels;
– 3 PADI Seminars participation;
– Issued 10 Emergency First Response course completion cards;
– Used complete PADI System of Diver Education when conducting PADI programs;
– Demonstrated support for PADI organization and have no verified Quality Management
violations within the past 6 months.
